Accessible taxis for apprentices.

Specialist taxi support can help apprentices attend their programme more consistently, reduce anxiety around travel and remove practical barriers that may affect participation. It can be particularly helpful where an apprentice has mobility needs, fatigue, anxiety, sensory needs, visual impairment or other disabilities that make independent travel difficult.

Where taxi support is recommended, we help training providers consider the apprentice’s individual circumstances and arrange transport that is appropriate, reliable and proportionate to their needs.
