Helping training providers identify support needs early.

We provide screening tools to help training providers identify apprentices who may need additional learning support, reasonable adjustments or further assessment.

Early identification is important because apprentices may not always disclose a disability, learning difficulty or barrier to learning at the start of their programme.

A consistent screening process helps providers recognise potential needs earlier, reduce the risk of support being missed and create a clearer starting point for support planning.

Where a potential need is identified, the apprentice can be referred for a more detailed needs assessment or further discussion about appropriate support.

For providers with an existing screening process, we can complement internal arrangements by adding follow-up assessment, specialist support options or a more structured route into support delivery.
