Access Support Apprentices provides a joined-up support pathway covering screening, needs assessment, specialist Non-Medical Help, Assistive Technology, Assistive Technology training, learning coaching, review, record keeping and itemised invoicing. We help training providers offer consistent, equitable and professional support throughout the apprentice journey, while reducing the administrative burden of managing multiple support services. Our service can be used as a complete apprentice support pathway or as a flexible partner solution to complement existing in-house provision and fill specific gaps.
The Apprentice Support Journey
Our process is designed to help training providers identify, plan, deliver and evidence support in a clear and consistent way. It gives apprentices access to the right help at the right time, while giving providers the records they need to monitor support and prepare for review or audit.


Needs Assessment
Where a potential need is identified, we can arrange a needs assessment to explore the apprentice’s learning barriers and support requirements.
The assessment leads to a tailored support plan setting out the recommended support, adjustments, technology, training and NMH.
Providing Support
We coordinate support through experienced specialist tutors, mentors, Assistive Technology trainers and trusted support partners.
Where providers already deliver support in-house, we can work alongside existing teams by adding different support elements or extra capacity where needed.
Evidence for Auditing
Support can be recorded and signed off through Touch Point, giving providers a clear record of sessions delivered, apprentice engagement and support received.
This helps reduce administration and provides evidence for monitoring, funding, review and audit preparation.
Screening
Our screening process helps training providers identify apprentices who may need additional learning support, reasonable adjustments or further assessment.
This supports earlier identification and helps providers offer support more consistently across their apprentice cohort.
