Tailored support for apprentices who need additional help

Access Support Apprentices carries out needs assessments to help training providers understand the barriers an apprentice may be facing and what support may be needed.

Our needs assessments look at the apprentice’s individual circumstances, learning needs, and any challenges affecting their ability to engage fully with their apprenticeship. This helps create a clearer picture of the support required.

Following the assessment, we produce a tailored support plan setting out the recommended support, reasonable adjustments, and delivery approach. This gives training providers a structured plan to guide support and record what has been agreed.

A clear needs assessment and support plan helps make sure apprentices receive the right support at the right time, while giving training providers a strong foundation for ongoing delivery and evidence.
